I am in Zurich Swiss holiday and you keep watch AP-BGY or BGZ come to LHR maybe ask AerPakistan good luck photo it. I forgot ask my friend pilot PIA tell me what date which BGY or BGZ first time flew to Houston and Chicago. If I see him then I will ask him to tell me to put some information here inshallah my friend pilot PIA said me know AP-BGJ BGK BGL have been nonstop Pak-YYZ-Pak sometimes if passenger less than 250 from Pak to YYZ but full payload from YYZ to Pak as 777ER maximum take off 298000kg.

ur right..the A310 has been given over 100 flights for hajj , more than the 747 and the 777 , therefore the 777 has been allocated a specific proportion of flights to KL ,SIN , and maybe HKG too ....and yes...LHR will be seeing the 777 soon...stansted is still with the A310 though..

starting November, the 747 flights will reduce dramaticaly, being replaced by 777's.

This is due to the 747's technical status, and several states not permitting aircraft with recurring faults to enter their airspace.

If PIA is unable to use its 747-300s for EU, then a short term dry-lease option for a few 747-200/300 should be considered.

How can PIA maintain exsisting 777 North American operations plus handover some 747/A310 routes also.

PIA went through the similar circumstances years ago when the US FAA authorities downgraded PIA status, due to maintainance issues.

This meant that PIA could not expand its network in US, and only fly exisiting routes which were New York and Toronto.

PIA hastily started Chicago and Washington DC flights in the month of December, and lost millions of dollars flying empty planes from New York onwards. Eventually PIA shut these stations down after a few months.

So poor management has drained PIA over the years.

The survival of PIA is attributed to god.

Since the PMs, CMs, Presidents, politicans, managers, GMs, Chairmans, generals, AVMs, all have done their bit to destroy/steal/plunder the assets of our national carrier.
