okay moin if i can find out where you can get them i will inform you and PK777 as you are mainly the only ones on this forum who have mainly responded and taken a firm interest in PIA models . wish more people could post they views
also moin dont you think that this forum should maybe include a PIA model database of all PIA models ever created? like the DAC AND 400SH.
im on my summer school holidays so ive got plenty of time on my hands.

The PIA 777-200LR doesn't have raked wingtips????? What the hell are they talking about?
And I think what she's saying in the second paragraph is that other than this so-called 'LR' they have 'no other' type of PIA models.
With these people, you have to read b/w the lines. Samee why don't you e-mail them a photo of the PIA 777LR which clearly shows the raked wingtips and assure them that our LR's (that ALL 777LR's ) have raked wingtips and that they would be making a mistake if they left them out, or else they should market it as a 200ER and change the registration to one of the ER #'s.

Samee I e-mailed Edith and below is the text of what I wrote to her:
Hello Edith, I hope you are well.
I have seen pictures of the new PIA B777-200LR model that you going to release later this month but noticed that the model does not have the raked wingtips which all 777-200LR's have.
If it does not have the raked wingtips, then it has to be a 777-200ER and the registration number will have to be changed to AP-BGJ, BGK or BGL.
PIA only has 2 B 777-200LR with registrations AP-BGY and BGZ and I was present at Karachi airport at the inauguration ceremony when the aircraft was officially handed over by Boeing to the airline and the aircraft does indeed have raked wingtips. All 777-200LR and 777-300ER have raked wingtips. Only the 777-200ER does not have them.
If you release a model of the 777-200LR, please make sure it has the raked wingtips, otherwise release it as a 777-200ER and change the registration to AP-BGJ, BGK or BGL.
Also all PIA 777's have the Pakistan flag aft of the L4 and R4 emergency exit doors. If you check photos of PIA 777's on airliners.net you can see for yourself.
I hope this has been of help to you.
Thanks,
Moin Abbasi,
Karachi, Pakistan.

thats good moin just post here when you recieve a reply you should recieve very soon. i recieevd a reply from them of how to order the model from their website as one of them is in japanese and the other is in english look here
this is the english website http://www.risesoon.com.tw/
this is the japanese one http://www.airplanemodel.com.tw/
they said to me to order on their website but you have to register first now where is their anything said about registering on the english website? so im waiting for them to get back with me again to confirm this. otherwise no news about that raked wingtips maybe they will reply to you moin
also i got a email from aviation megastore and they said that they cannot get the PIA model from risesoon. so it looks like i may have to order from risesoon. i think they dont offer this model to retails?
p.s. aviation retail direct has the DW PIA for pre-order also much more cheaper than the PX. though i will still get mine from airline replicas as Zareh will quality check them properly before sending it. i trust him.
or maybe i could wait and get it cheaper on ebay. but im not patient

Ok Samee, I got a reply from Edith, but I'm beginning to thing something has been lost in the translation and theres a bit of a language barrier here. Below is what she wrote back:
Dear Mr.Abbasi,
Thanks for your advising.
The content that you described was very carefully and amazed us.We are very glad to hear your comments but the model design of PIA-777 was authorizied by the Boeing company. Maybe it had something different between real airplant and model but we made the products accord the authroized design drawing.
If you interested in airplant models, we welcome you to browse our website.
Have a nice day!
Yours Sincerely,
Edith.
I then wrote back to her just now:
Dear Edith. First I'd like to thank you for your quick reply. Your company seems to know the importance of good customer service and you will succeed greatly in that regard.
In regards to the 777-200ER and 200LR, would you like me to send you some photographs of the PIA 777's which show the difference in the wingtips of the 777-200ER and 200LR? You will notice the 777-200LR has the exact same wing design as the 777-300ER which your company has released in the colors of Boeing World Plane and Singapore Airlines. Your design of the 777-200ER is very correct and according to the Boeing company blueprints, but there is a difference in the wingtip design of the 777-200ER and 200LR (which are slightly longer and pointed like the wings of the 777-300ER). You can confirm this with the Boeing company.
If you release this model as a 777-200LR with the exact same wings as the 777-200ER that will be a big mistake and the model with not sell. You will have to market it as a ER model not an LR.
I have seen other pictures of a 777-200LR which has 2 different flowery type tail designs which I believe your company is also making. THAT model has the CORRECT wingtips for the 777-200LR. This other model which you have made which has the Pakistan flag on the tail has the 777-200ER wingtips. In short, your PIA 777 model which has the choice of 2 tail designs has the correct LR wingtips and the model with the Pakistani flag has the correct ER wingtips.
Once again I'd like to thank you for listening and hope you will confirm the above before releasing this model.
Regards,
Moin Abbasi.
Now lets see if they can understand what I've said this time. I hope you sent them some pics which clearly show the wingtips of the LR.
