CBR to issue new baggage rules for overseas Pakistanis

KARACHI: Member Customs, Central Board of Revenue, Shahid Rahim, said on Tuesday that CBR would issue new set of baggage rules for overseas Pakistanis.

The last baggage rules were issued on 28th June 2006 after the announcement of federal budget.

Addressing the businessmen at FPCCI House, he said the new rules would be issued after having comments and views of stakeholders.

He particularly mentioned that the previous provisions with regard to purchases of overseas Pakistanis at Duty Free Shops would be refined.
