PAF C-130 in UK

PAF C-130 has arrived at Fairford (U.K.) for the air show , flown by Sqd. Ldr. Abu Bukar. Flight was from Chaklala and stop over in Turkey.

Good to see an Pakistan being represented a the airshow, who long will it be there for and will it be on display only or in the air aswell?

It might have flown to UK taking PAF delegation to the airshow. I dont see any reason for a PAF C-130 to be on display at Farnborough both static or flying. As far as I recall Pakistan's only representation was Super Mushaak and K-8 ot Dubai and Singapore.

I believe the C130 services are used to transport the mushaaks.

Its taking part in gratitude for the UK help in the EQ.

PAF C-130 crew is staying at Swallow Hotel., South Marston , Swindon, Wiltshire , England U.K.

I have met P.A.F C-130 crew this evening at their Swallo Hotel , Old Marston , Swindon Wiltshire UK. They have invited me to come to see a/c tomorrow... I hope to be there with my camera at Fairford .

I can canfirm that C-130 Tail No. is 64144 .

The big old bird is an ex-PIA machine.

Lockheed L-100-382B-4C Hercules, registration AP-AUT, transferred to PAF in 1966, given air force serial# 64144.
