Second ATR to PIA and Gilgit Route?

Post by ammad »

Musharaf say that one of the newly purchased all-weather planes of the Pakistan International Airlines would fly on the Gilgit-Islamabad route.

I need to know when this will happen and when PIA got delivery of its Second ATR ?

The second ATR 42-500 is due for delivery to PIA in November 2006, third aircraft is due in December 2006. The remaining four will be delivered between January and May 2007.

So, I believe ATR flights for Northern Areas will start in Nov/Dec 2006.

I should think it would be for the airline to decide where it flies its a/c and not the president. Has he got so much free time on his hands that he has to now tell the airline what a/c to fly where?

Thats the whole problem here....... interfering where you don't belong.
