777-200ER on KHI-YYZ route?
Can PIA's 777-200ER fly non-stop b/w KHI-YYZ? I noticed that Singapore Airlines fly direct SIN-MAN 14Hours on the 777-200ER, same plane as PIA. Or do SQ fly this route under payload restrictions?

777-200ER
Originally known as the 777-200IGW (for "increased gross weight"), the longer-range B market 777-200ER (772B) features additional fuel capacity, with increased MTOW range from 263 to 286 tonnes and range capability between 6000 and 7700 nautical miles (11,000 to 14,300 km). The first 777-200ER was delivered to British Airways in February 1997.

KHI-YYZ is 6300 Nautical miles so the 777-200ER should easily do the route.
I can think of 4 airlines which cover almost the same distance on the 777-200ER non-stop:
AA JFK-NRT
MH DXB-EWR
CO EWR-PEK
SQ SIN-MAN

weight problem between payload and fuel
Hello
PIA bought three 777240ER MTOW 273000kg did not apply maximum MTOW 298000kg but can upgrade to 298000kg but problem weight between payload and fuel because of:-
1)Full payload weight is 199000kg
2)Fuel full 137000kg.
3)if 199000kg and 137000kg = 336000kg can do nonstop but only 99000kg fuel for 15hours. If Pak to YYZ need 130000kg fuel which 110000kg fuel trip and 20000kg emergency divert.
4)PIA passenger seat are 329 plus 16crew=345 too heavy load
5)Other airline 200-270passenger+crew light to medium load
6)Other airline payload under 175000kg plus fuel 123000kg that why can do nonstop.
7)PIA new two 777lr full payload 209000kg and fuel 145000kg. but MTOW 340000kg. fuel 131000kg for 20hours no problem.
Airbus a340-600hgw MTOW 380000kg can full fuel and full payload no problem no restricted same like 3 A310-325 full payload is 114000kg and full fuel 50000kg= total 164000kg MTOW AP-BGQ,AP-BGR,AP-BGS are good.
Airbus beat Boeing
9)Boeing vs Airbus for world cup aircraft like world cup football ha ha ha
10)Perhaps a340-600hgw try long range 25hours beat b777lr
Thank you regards
Umar

i didn't know about AA's non-stop ORD-DEL. That flight is almost 16 hours non-stop on the 777-200ER!! There must be huge payload restrictions on that flight. I think that is probably the longest 777-200ER and boeing non-stop flight around? AA should also look at ordering the 777LR as well.

usa discrimination pia
USA discrimination PIA not fly nonstop to USA. If UA or AA or US airline will fly nonstop Pak-USA because they put their own extra security check all airport in anywhere world. I have seen PIA and ASF Pakistan airport are very good service better than USA. ASF and FIA and PIA staff are very good kind nice friend smile to me everytime. IN USA ICE and DHS and Security staff too hard bad service to me and passenger. Canada is good kind nice offer PIA nonstop to YYZ. Canada is equal opportunties.
best wishes and kindest regards

CO doesnt fly to BOM from EWR...it flies to DEL daily nonstop from EWR.fly1346 wrote:How does Continental airlines do it EWR-MUMBAI route on a 777-200ER
it is nonstop also, and clearly further distance then JFK-PAK or YYZ-PAK
No North American nor Indian airline flies nonstop from BOM to USA and vice versa.

PIA could have got two 777-200ER with a 250 seat configuration for these non-stop flight to N. America. I think that might have worked out better for them as most of the year they take an average of maybe 175 passengers or less on each flight during most of the year. But i think PIA got the LR's at a really good price, and that probably was the reason they chose the LR's.PakN'US wrote:LR induction was indeed a crime. I have a feeling that the PIA was forced to acquire 777LR owing to a great deal of pressure from the US Government and possibly graft.

yah thanks for the correction Behramjee.. I got confused didnt know which city.... but i still want to know how Continental does it using the 777-200ER...how does it do it? That distance is further than NYC-PAK how is that possible.. im assuming the luggage allowance is very little, not liek the 70 pounds PIA allows from JFK!... or did CO modify their 777-200 by adding additional fuel tanks??
