PIA Boeing 747-367 painted !!

One of my collegues just got off the Lahore PK 757 flight today at Heathrow. He just rang and told me that PIA has painted one of its Boeing 747-367 in the provincial schemes.

He told me that the tail was the "Lahore - Gardens of the Moghal" scheme and with regestration AP-BFW. The AP-BFW was operating the Islamabad - London Heathrow flight.

His aircraft also was a Boeing 747-367 but still had the flag on the tail. The two aircraft are parked next to each other at the moment.

that looks more like a 772...not a 743

i hope their not applyin a scheme on the 777s...
i think that atleast one type shud stay in the old livery...
n the 777 being a big achievment for PIA shud be the one!

I was simply pointing out to you that the image posted by B777240ER is indeed a B777 and not a B743.

However, the information i was given was that the moghal tail was painted on the B743 specifically on "AP-BFW", which wass correct and true and proven with the image appearing on a.net later that day. I have no idea where the confusion is ?

i know its a 772...btu then why have the same tail for the 772 as the 743??
if pk is applying different tails to the different types of 747s, then why not have an entirely new tail for the 772??

You can say the same thing for the ATR, why have they been painted with the tail design that was meant for the B733. Maybe they will only paint afew of their aircraft.
