An updated route map of PIA

Post by smarties »

This map is much more updated than the current one on PIA's website. I guess this map was updated last year.

PIA should at least put this map on their website. Here is the link:

Smarties - just embed the link within Image

it might make the route map less "accurate" but a lot easier to read if there was just a central box over Pakistan which reads "to/from Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore", and then routes coming out of it.

You wouldn't be able to tell if the route is to/from KHI,ISB or LHE though.

There could then be a separate page for domestic routes.

ok, thanx Sadiq! Yes, i agree wid you about a central box over Pakistan as it would be easier to read. Gulf Air do that with their route map. Or they could just map the cities without joining the lines up.

If I have time, I'll probably try and give it a go myself... I love working with maps. Does anyone know where I can get a similar (blank) map to that above - it's very well done.

Cheers

Use Mozilla Firefox. It lets you view the image on its own.

But you can also save it, and upload it onto photobucket or similar site.

One point that I noticed is that PIA is now serving direct flights to Toronto using LR but this map still showing Toronto via Manchester.

Also GLA are direct to LHE, and the map shows the flight going via DXB.

It's still showing Urumqi, and is missing Athens and Istanbul.
