Wasn’t the initial plan to increase to 17 weekly? A jump from 17 to 28 weekly is impressive!

CAA has to limit them to narrow body aircraft. 4x wide bodies per day will begin to feel like capacity dumping.

It will be operated by a320s for sure. If there is a demand, and if there is no other competitor on this route (no Pakistani airline), then the smartest player will get the whole cake.

What a shame for Pakistani airlines which cannot even operate between city routes that have significantly large Pakistani diaspora.

Nice to see genuinely good frequencies. Frequent travelers have to do one day excursions to the GCC so this will help give some relief to them.

A320 family, meaning A320 or A321, however, sometimes they use their 789s as well.

Well they certainly won't be using 789s anymore! Etihad will most likely send their high density a322s which has a seating capacity of 158 people meaning 632 people can be serviced in a day, good numbers.
