BA Islamabad Cancellations

Flightradar is showing all BA flights since 12 May cancelled. The last flight to arrive was just before the Indian airstrikes in Rawalpindi and Operation Bunyan al Marsoos, which grounded BA's aircraft in Islamabad. Is this temporary, or should we expect BA to leave Pak again due to security situation fears?

I think BA will resume its flights to Islamabad depending on how relations between India and Pakistan are maybe by next month. BA has temporarily stopped flying through Pakistan airspace, even those which are bound flights to other countries.

BA had a bit of a mishap where they managed to get two whole sets of crews stuck in ISB alongside an aircraft during ongoing military action. They are going to be very cautious returning in the short term
