AP-BOD is inactive since April 12.

airblue is clearly having hard times managing the neo aircrafts. They were seen more on the ground than in the skies.

AP-BOE today just performed a technical flight from Islamabad to Karachi while cruising at a lower altitude (18,000 ft), so it is not active “commercially“.

AP-BOD is inactive since 12 April.

What might have happened is that they might have removed parts from AP-BOD and put them on AP-BOE, so that it can „fly“ to Karachi.

Thats correct, BOD is now parked at the same place in ISB with engines given to BOE.

I do not know when we will see both of them flying at the same time. Airblue, with its fleet of 12 aircraft, has a great potential to become a solid, medium-sized, regional airline with flights from Pakistan to all major cities in the GCC along with flights to Malaysia, and Thailand.

With 12 aircraft, it should also be able to serve key domestic stations rigorously, and improve the aircraft movements and air traffic passengers statistics across Pakistan.

The busiest airports of the world are not busy because of higher number of foreign airlines serving them, but mostly because of their strong home airlines, and also due to strong domestic network (DOH, DXB, SIN, AUH are exceptions here).
