Questions about AirSial fleet
AirSial has 4 aircraft on order. (leased probably) Does anybody have any information on when they are due to arrive?
Also, Airsial seems to have one B738, why did they choose to get a random 737? Anyone knows the backstory?
Thanks

Re: Questions about AirSials fleet
one of the 5 aircrafts which would be arriving this year has already arrived like a month ago.
It is registered as AP-BPF.
Airsial even celebrated this aircraft as its 6th A320 on all of its social media platforms, yet there are are no flights performed by this “new” aircraft which was inducted more than a month ago.
Another slow airline of Pakistan

Re: Questions about AirSial fleet
Probably to maintain satisfactory regularity & punctuality of flights, AirSial on temporary basis arranged wet leased Boeing 737 in December before airline's dry leased Airbus A320 (AP-BOS) went to Istanbul in January apparently for heavy maintenance checks.
Maybe delay in the launch of new AirSial routes like UAE keeping recently inducted Airbus A320 registration AP-BPF on the ground.

Is the 737 still doing regular flights?Abbas Ali wrote: Tue Mar 25, 2025 8:23 pm Probably to maintain satisfactory regularity & punctuality of flights, AirSial on temporary basis arranged wet leased Boeing 737 in December before airline's dry leased Airbus A320 (AP-BOS) went to Istanbul in January apparently for heavy maintenance checks.

Re: Questions about AirSial fleet
^ Yes, the 737 as wet leased aircraft continues to perform AirSial flights. Apparently it's based in Lahore.

And, AirSial Airbus A320 registration AP-BOS apparently still in Istanbul for maintenance checks.

Re: Questions about AirSial fleet
AirSial will be inducting a A330 anytime soon.
Can't wait to see that happen.
As we remember AirSial initiated the recruitment of A330 crew last year.

AirSial is not inducting A330 anytime soon. They have four more A320s to be delivered on dry leases.PIA330 wrote: Tue Mar 25, 2025 10:19 pm AirSial will be inducting a A330 anytime soon.

Re: Questions about AirSial fleet
This is from September 2023. I doubt they'd want to get themselves into the wide body aircraft mess like Shaheen air and Serene air did. Added to that the fact that all airlines are struggling to get new aircraft and airsial still waiting on its a320s is enough to indicate that this plan is unlikely to materialise anytime soon.PIA330 wrote: Tue Mar 25, 2025 11:30 pmdanyal77W wrote: Tue Mar 25, 2025 10:52 pmAirSial is not inducting A330 anytime soon. Understandable, AirSial should think of getting A321xlr if they enough money to buy it.Averagespotter wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 12:42 amThis is from September 2023. Air Karachi is dry leasing a A330-900 from Malaysia Airlines. Operations are suppose to start soon.

Oh that's interesting. I wasn't aware of Air Karachi's fleet choice. Do you know what other aircraft types they plan on leasing?PIA330 wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 1:03 amUnderstandable, AirSial should think of getting A321xlr if they enough money to buy it.Averagespotter wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 12:42 amThis is from September 2023. Re: Questions about AirSial fleet
Unlikely. Every new airline in Pakistan has to serve domestically for one or two years to gain the confidence of the ministries to allow to them to operate international flights. It is unlikely this airline would need an A339 in a domestic flight like KHI-ISB.PIA330 wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 1:03 amUnderstandable, AirSial should think of getting A321xlr if they enough money to buy it.Averagespotter wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 12:42 amThis is from September 2023. Also Malaysia Airlines just got these A339s and are a main component of their fleet why would they want to lease them out?

Re: Questions about AirSial fleet
This cannot be true, given A330-900s are newer aircrafts at Malaysia Airlines, and ofcourse leasing them would be a lot of expense for a new Pakistani startup like Air Karachi which will be run by businessmen, who clearly do not have any expertise in aviation markets, until and unless they hire an expert team. So this clearly does not make sense and is highly unlikely as long as valid and reliable sources are mentioned claiming your statements.PIA330 wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 1:03 amUnderstandable, AirSial should think of getting A321xlr if they enough money to buy it.Averagespotter wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 12:42 amThis is from September 2023. Coming back to a startup airline being run by businessmen inexperienced in Aviation sector, one can clearly see the difference in how AirSial and FlyJinnah are being run, with FlyJinnah clearly leading the game.

Re: Questions about AirSial fleet
Considering Air Karachi, lets look at that unprofessional livery, that logo, and those marketing styles on their social media platforms. Complete mess and unprofessional attitude.
