PIA Boeing 707 1:200 upcoming model help

Post by ksekha »

Dear Everyone,

I have engaged Inflight 200 to produce a limited quantity of diecast metal 1:200 scale models of a PIA B707 in the early 1970s livery. My aim is to produce the most realistic high quality model.

Inflight 200 is amongst the best model producers, and they create models that are just like the real aircraft and with attention to detail.

They have produced the draft artwork for me to review and suggest modifications.I have uploaded two images of the artwork here:

I feel that the green colour might be a bit dark and that the Pakistan International titles might be a little thin. Please suggest Pantone codes for the main colour.

Please also suggest any other changes, no matter how insignificant they may appear.

I have a deadline of Wednesday 19th March, so please advise me as soon as possible.

My main concern is the green colour. Was the shade of green in the early 1970s livery the same shade of green as the one on the earlier 1960s livery? If so, then I can use the same shade of green that I have on a PIA L-1049 model that I have.

Was the early 70s green lighter than the green on the 80s green - gold livery?

Lastly, I prefer to have the aircraft registration as AP-AUN, so can someone find me photos of the AP-AUN in the early 1970s livery.

I look forward to your replies.

Thank you.
