The domestic departure terminal should have had a separate entrance, them being next to each other creates more chaos with cars blocking the road leading to international departures

Are they expanding both sides of the terminal? A bigger extension for domestic and a smaller extension for international?

The pictures indicate that they're adding just 3-4 more gates which isn't sufficient in my opinion. The terminal might need another expansion 8-10 years later.

I don't know if they are considering this or not but they should (if they're not): All gates at Pakistani airports can only accommodate one aircraft at a time, may it be narrow body or wide body. They should expand the ramp area enough so that they can accommodate either one wide body aircraft or two narrow bodies at one gate simultaneously (to make an efficient use of limited gates) such as at Bahrain Airport:
