Why hasn't Pakistani airlines cashed in Syria

Post by ba260 »

With Syria under a new government and airlines like TK, QR, and RJ returning or have returned. Why hasn't Pakistani airlines cashed in? Considering our obsession with our other Islamic countries, Pakistani Airlines can take opportunity of supplying tourist, cargo, and transporting Syrians to the Middle East and destinations like Kuala Lumpur, China, and Bangkok. Not bad idea as PIA can take some of the market share until Middle East 4 go in and operate multiple 777 daily flights. Just food for thought.

Not sure what's wrong with the title? I wrote cashed in not crashed. Other airlines are doing it. So why isn't Pakistani airlines. I think it's not bad as we send religious tourist to Syria. Our companies over all can cash in the economic rebuild of Syria.

Cham is operating scheduled services to both Karachi and Lahore. PIA does operate to Damascus for religious pilgrim charters - those are seasonal services.
