PIA Cancellation and Refunds?

Salam all,

Wanting to fly back from the UK to Pakistan in March, and considering going with PIA. Of course, at the moment we don't know whether PIA will be flying to UK by March or not, so I was thinking of booking with them via Europe and taking a connection via Paris. Wanted to know that, if PIA then decides to reopen UK flights by the time I return in April (or even re-opens them for UK by March) I will want to cancel the flight from/to Paris and fly direct from/to UK.

My concern is how is PIA's refunds/cancellation process? I don't want hundreds of pounds to be stuck with PIA for many months, and having to chase after them for a refund. Do forum members have any experience with this?

Why ask for a situation when you can fly Qatar, Etihad, TK, EK, Sri Lankan, Thai, Air China, China Southern, Ethiopian, British Airways, Saudia, and Pegasus to UK and have a reliable service vs flying PIA? Then you wouldn't be asking such question or even being in such problem.

Refund procedure is quite good in PIA. I refunded my tickets two or three times, and it was credited back within a week while their said time was two weeks.

Well sometimes being cheap isn't best thing buddy. So spend little bit more cash and get quality product. PIA needs to offer reliable and quality product for it to earn people business. They can't just keep throwing and seeing what sticks on the wall.
