A passenger traveling to Denmark via PIA Islamabad to Paris flight was also interviewed by PTV News. Other passengers interviewed by the news channel included those who appreciated convenience of non-stop flight from Pakistan to Europe and its low fare.

The marketing dept or their tasked ad agency did an overefficient job, for which they are being trolled on social media for the right reason https://tribune.com.pk/story/2521283/so ... t-ad?amp=1

Especially considering the old twin tower ad.

In some ways, all publicity is good publicity. It’s not as if the trolls, who are mostly non-Pakistani, were ever going to fly PIA. If someone wants to fly PIA, this ad won’t put them off it. However, it helps the news go viral that PIA is now flying to Europe, so those pax who were unaware will now be aware. I’d say it’s achieved its purpose better than any conventional ad.

Another positive aspects of these flights for PIA is that PIA can carry spares for its of planes now from France (For 320s) . Instead of inviting bids from vendors, aircraft maintenance will speed up with these flights

Hopefully flights from Lhe & Khi to start soon

The national carrier resumed flights to France with a 'threatening' post on X, and people are full of jokes.

In an X (formerly Twitter) post, PIA edited their plane flying right towards the Eiffel Tower, with France’s flag splattered across the sky in a decreased opacity, and let’s just say, the red of the flag next to the iconic landmark with the PIA plane flying head first towards it looks a little problematic.

To make matters even more meme-worthy, the post read, “Paris, we’re coming today.” Very ominous, and not something you’d want to read in an ad for an airline.

Of course, social media users had a field day with the post, with almost everyone questioning PIA’s graphic design choices. Comedian Shehzad Ghias Shaikh questioned if their post was a “threat”, and he wasn’t the only one — another person advised the airline to fire their ad agency.

glad to see PIA resumed to EU, in beginning they should have started 3x weekly flight rather than 2x weekly, giving better connection for passengers and less stay time for crew at Paris, especially those operating Sunday sortie, have to wait till Friday to fly back
