Names of experienced PIA officers are being considered for the post of airline's acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Names under consideration for the post of acting CEO PIA include:

PIA Chief Operating Officer & Chief Training & Development Amanullah Qureshi
PIA Chief Technical Officer Amir Ali
PIA Chief Projects Officer Khurram Mushtaq

PIA Board of Directors meeting will select and approve airline's acting CEO appointment.

Air Vice Marshal Amir Hayat's term on deputation from Pakistan Air Force (PAF) as CEO PIA is ending on December 8, 2024. He was appointed CEO PIA in August 2023 after serving as airline's acting CEO since April 2022.

Air Vice Marshal Amir Hayat's tenure as CEO PIA is ending on December 8.
