Once-a-week Faisalabad to Muscat Airbus A320 flight PK165 starting from September 20.

Apparently, PIA operated it's last flights PK165 from Faisalabad to Muscat & PK166 from Muscat to Faisalabad using Airbus A320 on November 7, 2023.

Once a week Faislabad-Madina earlier on and now one weekly Faislabad-Muscat. Two main cities in the ME and PIA's same old one weekly flight approach.

Also, many passengers can get cheaper tickets from LHE so they opt for a 2 hour ride to lahore rather than flying directly from stations like Faislabad and Sialkot.

Pakistan should have four major international airports.

Karachi to serve the Southern part of Pakistan.

Lahore to serve Faisalabad, and surrounding towns of Lahore

Multan to serve south Punjab

Islamabad to serve Peshawar, Sialkot and surrounding areas.

Nobody has two major international airports within a distance of two hours of driving.

Boston serves as major hub serving all of New England. Chicago serves the Midwest. Atlanta and Miami , Dallas serve the South.

There is a system. Why would anyone fly once a week Faisalabad to Muscat when they can fly daily on Fly Dubai.

No wonder PIA is bankrupt its incompetent marketing staff.
