Through a notification issued by Establishment Division, Cabinet Secretariat, Government of Pakistan, on July 24, 2024, Ahsan Ali Mangi, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, posted as Additional Secretary Commerce Division is transferred and posted as Secretary Aviation Division with immediate effect and until further orders under Section 10 of Civil Servants Act - 1973.
Mangi, a bureaucrat par excellence, holds vast experience in national and international roles. He previously served as Deputy Secretary General of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).
He also served as Joint Secretary at Prime Minister's Office and was previously Member of Environment at Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Director General (DG) Operations at Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP).
