PIA Post-Hajj Operation to Lahore begins
Lahore, June 21, 2024 - PIA has commenced its post-Hajj flights to Lahore. PIA post-Hajj flight PK764 from Jeddah carrying 325 Hujjaj arrived at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore on June 21 afternoon.
PIA District Manager Zaheeruddin, Station Manager Ashfaq Awan and other PIA Officials welcomed the Hujjaj at Lahore's Allama Iqbal International Airport. The pilgrims were garlanded with flowers by PIA. Upon arrival at Lahore Hujjaj praised the services of PIA at the Jeddah Hajj Terminal and said that even during the journey, the PIA staff left no stone unturned to serve the pilgrims.
It should be noted that PIA will bring more than 35,000 pilgrims back home from Saudi Arabia through 171 flights. About 19,500 pilgrims under the official Hajj scheme, 14,900 under the private Hajj scheme and about 630 Khuddam ul Hujjaj will reach Pakistan through PIA flights.
PIA will operate post-Hajj flights to Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Multan and Sialkot. Pilgrims from Sukkur and Quetta will travel via Karachi.
PIA's post-Hajj operation will conclude on July 21, 2024.
