Once again, bad luck for Faisalabad as usual.
There is no direct flight from Faisalabad, even after upgradation of runway.

Why not dry lease a few A330-300s??
A320 crews can fly the A330.
If PIA is not allowed to lease more planes until privatization, then possible for Government of Pakistan leases aircraft for hajj and get PIA crews to fly them.
To get converted it take a minimum of 40 days per crew so by July they will be able to convert a A320 crew same with cabin crew at least 30 days

Agreed. That too ideally if they get the simulator slots + TRIs who can train their crew quickly and efficiently.

Saudi authorities will provide immigration facility at Karachi Airport to over 16,000 Hajj pilgrims under Makkah Route initiative.
Saudi staff will have access to 8 counters and equipment in international departures satellite area of Karachi Airport to perform their work.
Makkah Route initiative at Karachi Airport is specifically for over 16,000 government-sponsored Hajj pilgrims.
15,000 pilgrims going to perform Hajj through private operators from Karachi Airport would not be part of Makkah Route initiative.
PIA will also operate 21 Hajj flights from Quetta and 5 Hajj flights from Sukkur transiting through Karachi Airport.

For hajj flights PIA should convert its 777s to all economy.
The 35 old club class seats should be removed and 63 economy seats installed allowing PIA to carry around 30 extra passengers per flight.
