AirAsia Aviation Group Delegation Visits Pakistan

On April 23, AirAsia Aviation Group Limited delegation led by Group CEO Bo Lingam met President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad.

President Zardari emphasized the need to improve Pakistan's connections with other countries through flights. Pakistan's tourism industry can be fully exploited through increased people-to-people contacts, said the president.

AirAsia Aviation Group Limited delegation informed President Zardari about the group and its flight operations.

is Malindo air still operating out of Lahore? i think they are part of Air Asia group

Yes it is but no they are not part of Air Asia.

I’ve been wondering why Pakistan wasn’t on AirAsia’s network for years. I really hope they start services including ISB.

Hopefully Malindo and Air Asia interest also gets other airlines like Scoot to consider Pakistan

Yes they are operating but that under BatikAir banner and LionAir group not AirAsia
