Air Ambulance service to be started in Punjab Province within 10 to 12 weeks, announced newly elected Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in Punjab Assembly session today.

Government of Punjab is launching Air Ambulance Service in Punjab to transfer critical patients to specialized hospitals from far-flung areas of south and north Punjab.

One Air Ambulance shall be stationed in Rawalpindi/Mianwali and the other in Multan/Bahawalnagar.

Companies registered with Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) are invited to submit tenders/bids for the provision of following services for one year extendable on the basis of performance.

2 x Aircraft for provision of Air Ambulance Service in Punjab/Punjab Emergency Services Department (Rescue 1122).

Two fixed-wing aircraft and a rotary-wing aircraft to be made part of Air Ambulance Service in Punjab Province/Punjab Emergency Services Department (Rescue 1122).

Reference to tender notice in newspapers on March 10, 2024, to launch Air Ambulance Service in Punjab.

Accordingly, the description for two airplanes for Provision of Air Ambulance Service in Punjab is hereby replaced with description of Hiring of Services for Ambulance Service in Punjab.

Furthermore, the last date for the submission of bids shall be April 1, 2024, at 11:00 AM which shall be opened on the same date at 11:30 AM.

The other Terms of Reference (TORs) mentioned in the advertisement shall remain in the same.
