PIA Cargo Boeing 707 aircraft were retired in 1999.


PIA operated its last scheduled passenger flight with Fokker F27 Friendship in 2006.


PIA phased out Boeing 737-300 from its fleet in 2014.


PIA Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Flight Academy operated Cessna 172 Skyhawk aircraft. Closure of the flight academy was confirmed by CEO PIA in 2021. The academy had two Cessna 172N Skyhawk aircraft (registrations AP-BAJ & AP-BBN). Aircraft registration AP-BAJ was damaged in an accident near Keti Bandar on May 31, 2019.
