On March 12, Serene Air Airbus A330-200 aircraft registration AP-BNE performed airline's Islamabad to Quetta flight ER541 completed in 1 hour & 15 minutes. The aircraft left Islamabad at 3:50 PM and arrived in Quetta at 5:05 PM.Flight ER541 is usually performed by Boeing 737-800 aircraft in Serene Air fleet.

On March 12 Serene Air Airbus A330-200 aircraft registration AP-BNE became the first aircraft of its category to land on Quetta Airport's upgraded main Runway 13L/31R. The aircraft arrived in Quetta as flight ER541 from Islamabad.

Later the aircraft left Quetta as flight ER541 to Jeddah with more than 290 Umrah pilgrims.

The upgraded main Runway 13L/31R of Quetta Airport caters for aircraft up to International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) code 4E and is equipped with the latest technology Airfield Lighting System (ALS) for day & night operations.
