Air Sial intends to start flights for UAE, Qatar, Iran, Iraq and UK in year 2024.

On December 25, Air Sial successfully completed three years (2020-2023) of flight operations. Currently, Air Sial is operating international flights to destinations including Jeddah, Dammam and Muscat.

Air Sial also has indicated plan to induct Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft in its fleet.

An excellent fleet of A330-200s are stored by American Airlines.

Built in 2013-14 they are in storage since 2020 so basically have flown for 6-7 years.

In three class layout with 20 in club, 21 in premium economy and 206 in economy these aircraft could form the back bone of a modern long haul fleet.

London, Manchester and Birmingham could be great revenue earner for private Pakistani airlines and just like PIA can gain large profits.

How will they start UK? the ban has no end in sight.
I think this is just blowing in the wind by Airsial as they wouldn’t induct A330s until the ban is lifted , they wouldn’t want to get stuck like Serene.

Even once the ban is lifted, the private airlines cannot seem to see beyond UAE & Saudi Arabia.

AirBlue was doing very well on ISB-MAN-ISB, albeit with A319/320/321 and a fuel stop in Turkey. It all went wrong for them when they inducted A340s and offered a direct route.

Shaheen had direct flights with A330s but again when issues started to arise for the airline, Manchester was amongst the first route that got pulled.

Be great to see AP reg in UK, though personally, from my experience, they need to vastly improve customer service. As one AOG in Europe can or will cripple them financially. Air Blue from past as a prime example.

AirBlue, Shaheen and PIA have all had aircraft on ground several times. What in particular happened to AirBlue?
One thing I do recall is that they had x2 A340s, but until they ended UK flights, only one A340 would operate at a time, with the other being in Lahore.
