All pilots flying in different countries registered aircraft have their licences endorsed by their reverent aviation authority
All Pakistani pilots flying foreign registered aircraft either convert their existing Pakistani licenses to that country's licence after passing the requisite exams or in some cases their Pakistani license is validated and they can fly foreign registered aircraft. This is exactly what AirSial plans to do with Sri Lankan pilots.
The point here is that there is no restriction on Pakistani licensed holder pilots to fly foreign registered aircraft; the restriction is on Pakistani airlines.

what i understood is the licenses issued by CAA Pak are not yet acceptable under the ban on CAA Pak registered aircraft to operate to UK and so are the operating crews too who have licenses from CAA Pak.
The ban is on Pakistani Airlines and not Pakistani pilots. Pakistani pilots are still flying in many countries. The ban on Pakistani airlines flying to UK or Europe will stay in effect even if you bring UK or European pilots.
thank you for correcting

Dear Colleagues,

Please enlighten the nonaviation persons about a "type-rated pilot."

In simple words, a type rating is specific training required on a particular type of aircraft by a pilot who is already having the required piloting licence. It is mostly done on a simulator and it costs a lot of money. Airlines always prefer to hire already type-rated pilots to save money on training them.

The hiring of foreign pilots will be on a short-term basis

There is no justification for hiring them even on a short-term basis when enough Pakistani pilots are available. Airblue started operating in 2004 and Serene Air in 2018. They never hired foreign pilots.

You have explained yourself what a type rated pilot is yet you are still adament that "enough Pakistani pilots are available"?!?
Airblue and serene never hired foreign pilots because no rated foreign pilot in their right mind would ever want to come and work in a Pakistani airline because we are the lowest paid pilots in the universe and generally considered to be in the top 10 worst places in the world to live in.
The only reason srilankan pilots would be interested in finding employment here is because the situation in their home country is somhow worse than ours at the moment.

You are implying that all airlines should hire type-rated foreign pilots and if they are not available, only then they should go for Pakistani pilots. Actually, the case is just the opposite; an airline should look for TR Pakistani pilots, if none are available, they must go for NTR Pakistani pilots and if none are available, only then can they go for foreign pilots.
When I said "enough Pakistani pilots are available" I was talking about Pakistani pilots who are NTR. Why can't AirSIal just hire them and get them TR? Also, there are hundreds of A320 TR pilots available in Airblue, Serene Air and PIA. Fly Jinnah has been successful in hiring some of them. If AirSial is unable to lure them, that doesn't become a justification for the hiring of foreigners.

An airline is a business and not a khairaati program like PIA. A type rating costs a lot of money. Not all airlines in the world have a cadet pilot program where they pay for your training. Most airlines prefer type rated candidates as It saves them money. Simple.

They don't have enough TRIs
In that case, they should hire 2-3 foreign TRIs to train Pakistani pilots. Why do they need to hire dozens of foreign pilots? Also, if you are serious, you could get TRIs on loan from Airblue/PIA. This has been happening in the past. When PIA inducted A320s, their pilots were trained by Airblue TRIs.
On the sidelines, let me say that apparently, they never wanted to make TRIs. They started operating in Dec 2020 and had a number of Captains who could have been trained as TRIs. It doesn't require a year and seven months. At best in 2-3 months, you can train a Captain as TRI.
