International runners flown to Gilgit Airport by Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Lockheed C-130E Hercules (aircraft serial number 4178) for Karakoram Marathon Challenge.
The aircraft tail is sporting special markings celebrating 75th anniversary of PAF No. 6 Air Transport Support (ATS) Squadron and 100th anniversary of the Royal Air Force (RAF). Aircraft nose section is sporting No. 6 Squadron colours. It recently took part in Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) 2018 from July 13 to 15 held at Royal Air Force (RAF) Fairford Station in United Kingdom
