According to news sources, Shukriya Khanum - the first Pakistani woman to obtain Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) - has passed away.

Ms. Khanum also served PIA as ground instructor and taught CPL ground course subjects to Cadet Pilots.

Maybe female pilots were not allowed in PIA in her days?
