No.9 Squadrons of PAF and RAF Declared as Twin Squadrons

According to news sources, multirole No. 9 'Griffins' Squadron of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and No. IX Bomber Squadron of Royal Air Force (RAF) have been declared as twin squadrons in a ceremony organised at PAF Base Mushaf, Sargodha, which is home base of PAF No. 9 'Griffins' Squadron equipped with F-16 Fighting Falcon multirole combat aircraft.

PAF No. 9 Squadron was raised in 1943 in Risalpur.

RAF No. 9 Squadron was raised in 1914.
