FYI Only

The same airplane (AP-BHO) had had a runway excursion back in 2009 at landing at LHE. It was reported to be 'substantially' damaged but was repaired and put into service. Wonder if today's crash had anything to do with structural damage to one of the wings due to added stress in case of engine failure. It has happened before; JAL flt 123 suffered in-flight structural damage after an incorrect repair to a tailstrike damage leading to the worst single-aircraft accident in the history of aviation :-k

Crash site points to explosion at impact not before. The plane seems to have hit the upper point and skidded downwards, burning...

I have no info regarding where it was repaired but even if it was repaired at an ATR facility, things can go wrong, though unlikely. Anyhow, we do not know what went wrong. It was just a thought that struck me when I was going through airline safety database and saw the same registration number in another accident.
