One bridge is attached to the main building but the location of the second bridge is strange. There is no building behind it

^ Apparently it means terminal building will be extended for that boarding bridge.

I think at the moment even one working Bridge would be enough as there are only a few Flights a week right now and as soon as there are no delays in other Flights there would be only one or max. 2 Aircraft to handle at the same time.

But its nice to see that they are looking into the future and expecting an increase of traffic(what I also expect very soon in sha Allah) therfore Terminal Expansions and more Bridges will be necessary.

I don't think any possible extension of terminal building, in fact they will construct some tube shaped structure to join this specific jetway with existing terminal building structure for access to particular parking gate.

Through following advertisement in July 11 newspaper, Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) has invited reputed advertising companies for exclusive advertising rights at Sialkot International Airport Limited for three years in areas including:

Two avio bridges (interior & exterior).

Apparently it means two passenger boarding bridges at the airport are getting ready to become operational.

Jet bridge supervisor required by Sialkot Airport, according to following advertisement that appeared in today's (September 18) newspaper.

Are jet bridges operational now at Sialkot Airport or going to be operational soon?

^ excellent photos - thank you Hamad for sharing and many congrats to Sialkot Airport.

Especially liked these two photos of Emirates and Qatar Airways. Apparently Emirates was the first to use boarding bridge facility at the airport.

Emirates Boeing 777-300ER (A6-EPT) as flight EK-620 from Dubai landed at Sialkot at 10:41 AM.

Qatar Airways Airbus A320-200 (A7-ADI) as flight QR-626 from Doha landed at Sialkot at 10:52 AM.

Although its not related to the topic, but it is alarming for me the qualifications they have asked for traffic officer, ramp officer and headset technicians positions. Why do they need graduates??? I know thats how it is all over Pakistan but I personally think this trend is not very good for the industry and our people. We need more technically sound people rather than university graduates, we need to utilize pool of non graduated workforce available and give graduates better jobs where they can work to their full potential.
