Well finally, here they are. Released in the Far East first, followed by the USA and then Europe:

you know me Moin, why buy a "bana banaya" model when I can put my blood sweat and tears into building a kit from scratch?!

Because of the following reasons:
1. Saves time.
2. You would have to find the rare 1:200 Hasegawa Qantas 743 kit with the correct RB211 engines.
3. You would also have to buy the 1:200 Hasegawa JAL or ANA 773 kit and buy the after market add on GE90 engines and raked wingtips to make the 773ER.
4. You would have to design the decals for both the above models yourself and find someone to print them out for you.
5. The Hogan models are 1/3rd the price of what you would end up spending building one of the above.

Lol I certainly can't see you sacrificing all that just for one of these. They're less than $40 each. Get them, display them, enjoy them and be done with it.
Here are some more pics of the 743. I had the 773ER as well but gave that to a friend and will get myself another one.

Yes they are released but in Hong Kong only for now. The US and Europe should get them by later on this year. Where are you located?
