Hello,
Long back i crafted a PIA solid wood model which is in disastrous situation at the moment. Both engines are lost, tail section and 1 horizontal stabilizer is also lost. This model was also having a pedestal stand which is also lost.
Also, this model was kept in one of the PAF exhibition at Lahore Air base during the PAF day but i don't remember exactly which year it was.
The time i crafted it, thought of A310 model but it was not. In fact it is a mixture of different aircraft models, you can guess yourself by viewing the pictures i have taken recently.
Comments are welcome

Re: my PIA solid wood model
I like it a lot. It looks exactly like the PIA airplanes painted on the colorful trucks all over Pakistan, only in 3D.
Great effort!

Re: my PIA solid wood model
^ Yes, the shape of the aircraft does look like those that are found in Pakistani bus/truck art i.e. aircraft fuselage getting narrow near tail section.
Overall a good effort indeed by Raihan.
Some years ago I saw an old wooden model of a PIA Boeing 707 in green & gold livery at 'Design Workshop' in Model Town Lahore. That model looked quite nice. Design Workhop produced and probably continues to produce PAF fighter aircraft models. They also got contracts to repair large scale aircraft models from travel agencies. When I went there I saw huge models of Boeing 747 in KLM and British Airways liveries getting repaired in their workshop.
