^ I think it's being prepared for an official opening. I hope general public is allowed to visit and especially photograph beautifully displayed helicopters.
It's located on Brigadier Amjad Chaudhry Road before Lahore Garrison Golf & Country Club and is not very far from Lahore Airport Hajj Lounge.

Saw the Army museum yesterday and its being prepared to be opened for general public. Tanks and Helicopters are being painted to be given a fresh look, helicopters look amazing. There is one aircraft (propellor) on display as well but couldn't figure out which which it was as i saw the museum from distance.

^ maybe Pakistan Army Cessna O-1 Bird Dog?
There's also a T-33 or RT-33 (probably gifted by PAF) and maybe Pakistan Army Lama.

From the images that I have searched over the web, it looked like to be T-33, but I'm not too sure. Pakistan Army Lama was also there covered with dust, i think its awaiting its paint job. Cant wait to go there!Abbas Ali wrote: Sun Jul 09, 2017 9:01 am ^ maybe Pakistan Army Cessna O-1 Bird Dog?

There are many ground vehicles like tanks, jeeps, trucks, guns etc. on display outside the museum. Captured/destroyed Indian tanks also displayed.
Various sections related to Pakistan Army history are inside the museum. There's also a shop and a café.
Flying machines on display outside the museum are a PAF RT-33 and Pakistan Army helicopters Cobra, Mi-17, Lama and Alouette III.

Entry ticket price for an adult is PKR 50/-.

Army Museum Lahore.

Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Lockheed RT-33A Shooting Star / T-Bird serial number 53-5090. The single-seat reconnaissance aircraft's equipment in rear cockpit has been removed and in its place a dummy pilot has been placed to make it appear as a two-seat T-33 jet trainer. Smaller glass panel on starboard side of nose section for reconnaissance camera can be seen in this photo.

Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Lockheed RT-33A Shooting Star / T-Bird serial number 53-5090. Larger glass panel on port side of nose section for reconnaissance camera can be seen in this photo.

Pakistan Army SA 315B Lama serial number 697.

Pakistan Army Bell AH-1 Cobra with serial number 216 on tail fin.

The same Pakistan Army Bell AH-1 Cobra but with serial number 191 on nose.

Pakistan Army Mi-17 serial number 58660.

Pakistan Army Alouette III serial number 1821.
The museum still has large vacant areas where more exhibits including retired helicopters and aircraft can be added for display in future.
