Yea it is a requirement by the DfT & CAA to have someone in the cockpit when towing away an aircraft. Mainly to switch ON\OFF APU, Beacon Lights, to warn the tug-driver of incoming obstacles (if any) as well as guiding him at the gate dock by looking out for light of the prticular aircraft you're aboard etc...kamalla wrote:Great video!
I'm guessing its you in the captain's seat? Is there generally a requirement for someone to be in the cokpit when the aircraft is being towed?
The orbital speed of the Earth around the Sun averages about 30 km/s or 18 mps (108,000 km/h or 67000 mph).
Which means we're travelling 97 times the speed of sound. And yet we can't feel the motion, SubhanAllah
