PIA and Air India

Post by DEZI »

Inda was a privatized entity under the British Raj. Pakistan is unfortunately has fallen prey to the 'baqiaat' of the elders who used to go to any length to appease their masters.
I think the best option would be to invite Air India for a possible take over of PIA. Or rather Jet Airways or Sahara for that matter.
Agha Khan or Charles Bronson is bull.

Wasn't it A. Khan that PK/Kirmani & the PM made a presentation to at that hotel in Brussels some weeks ago? It is rumored that the transfer if title for the choice parts of PIA were discussed/presented to A. Khan.

WOW!! That is interesting. A.Khan gets Habib Bank for peanuts. A. Khan gets Education Boards for free and now PIA??? The history of the sub-continent can add some more names to the Mir jaffer team. The fore fathers of today's A.Khan were in the same business during the British Raj. In this situation I envy our big neighbour who sent these families packing to Pakistan. [-o<

Not only that, the whole northern areas have been given to him as a personal fiefdom for proselytization and mass conversions...

AI itself is a govt. company. I don't think Paksitan govt. would like the idea of an Indian govt. company running it's national airline.
Sahara is crap. It's run by a bunch of jokers.
9W would be a great option. It's a world class airline.

Well Air Deccan has become the second largest Indian airline, but posted a loss of $74 million.

Jet Airways is lost $36 million.

Wonder how much Air India and Indian Airlines lost in 2006???

Therefore it can be concluded that PIA also cannot make profits. It will loose money and with Pakistan Railways 'Bullet Train' coming soon it should forget about breaking it even on the domestic market.
