Earlier on PIA used to give 2 tickets each year to officers of Pak Armed services at 50% discount for travel within Pakistan.
Does PIA still have this policy ??

PIA never gave any discounted tickets to army officers on any discount whatsoever.
The factual position is that every armed forces officer( army, navy and airforce) is entitled six one way (three round trips) 50 rebated (fare only, taxes are paid full) tickets in a year. On purchase of such rebated tickets to the armed forces officers, 50% remaining amount is paid to PIA by concerned branch, thus PIA gets the full fare.....And by the way the total discount is about 35% (since taxes are paid ful)......
How about PIA giving huge discounts to journalists on domestic and international routes???????and many complimentary tickets given on descretion to the near and dear ones of PIA bosses?????
