That's why it's an updated scedulekamalla wrote:no kidding!sadiqhassan wrote:they did not imply that Toronto is part of the USA
I also don't see the Sunday KHI-YYZ flight on the updated schedule.
Actually, it's not a bad schedule under the circumstances (i.e., only 777's available, massive mismanagement, etc)

Looks like flights to Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Rome, Milan and Athens have been cancelled.
Any idea if this schedule is going to be amended soon???
Twice a week Lahore-Frankfurt-Amsterdam-Lahore flight should have been retained.
Twice a week Lahore-Rome-Milan-Lahore flight would be good, serving both the Italian cities with one flight.
Toronto should have been switched over to the twice a week 747s via Istanbul, allowing PIA to operate the four extra european flights from the 777 fleet.
Another option being, PIA can use its wet-leased A321s to operate the following flights.
Islamabad-Athens-Rome-Athens-Islamabad
Lahore-Athens-Rome-Athens-Lahore
Islamabad-Athens-Milan-Athens-Islamabad
Lahore-Athens-Milan-Athens-Lahore
While the 777 can go to Frankfurt and Amsterdam

Though this may not be totally true but what the hell...
Amaad,
It seems that PIA followed your JFK via IST suggestion...v sensible indeed .
PIA has 5th freedom rights on IST-JFK-IST and for the 4 weeks that theyre flying the route, they should introduce attractive fares valid for a 2 week period for a round trip journey between IST-JFK-IST to get as high a load as possible.
And it seems that they followed my suggestion by suspending flights to all EU destinations that saw light loads and were unprofitable
EU cities suspended are FCO-AMS-FRA-ATH-MXP and BHX has been reduced from 5 weekly to 3 weekly A 310 service from ISB.

I was hoping they would do that, but KHI-IST and IST-USA aren't showing up on schedules (for me at least.)behramjee wrote:
