New Release: 7 Netmodels PIA B747's
Ok here is the surprise that i have been weighing up in the past couple of weeks. Hope you like them? There are in scale 1/500 so these will please alot of wings900 team as they were after a few PIA's in scale 1/500
Remember these are samples and are not the final product and have many aspects missing from the livery. Don't worry i will try and get this sorted before the final product is released at end of January. If you want advise me about any mistakes? im sure i have already spotted them (like registrations...pakistan flags...etc lol
7 PIA B747's
PIA B747-367 "Kaghan - Mountain Paradise" AP-BGG
PIA B747-367 "Karachi - Green Turtle Waters" AP-BFX
PIA B747-367 "Lahore - Garden of the Mughals" AP-BFW
PIA B747-200 "Quetta - Nature's Orchard" AP-BAT
PIA B747-200 "Thar - Colours of the Desert" AP-BAK
PIA B747-200 AP-BAT
PIA B747-300 AP-BFU
Now we just need AP-BFV and AP-BFY so we have the whole PIA 747 fleet. I will try my best with this.
Wing probes, Mould look good not bad considering we barely see so many PIA 747's released all in one go !!!
REMEMBER THESE ARE SAMPLES! I shall recieve these samples by next week

Samee,
True you can't do anything about mould errors at time, HF Antennas aka wing probes are for sure too darn thick same for engine pylons, plus you can see ingraved L/E slat slots on lower part of the wings in all the pictures. Apart from mould errors cockpit window decals or printing is not right atall, they are wrapig\ng around too stright and on to the sides vs they go on downward angle on real birds. Rest looks ok from the pictures, do you have any head on shots of these models, if you do then check all the alingments from one side to another. Mind you these are not foe me either,if they were 1/400 scale then yes but not at 1/500 scale

I agree if they were in 1/400 I would have bought all of them!! The beige colour seems fine too me... why do u say dark?! The photos seem bright enough.Moin wrote:Nice, but would have considered them if they were in 1/400. Btw Samee, your 'beige' shade is way too dark here.
Not for me though. Yawn.

all the models have same colour beige its just the lighting in some photos and the way the aircraft is situated.PIA10141 wrote:samee, the beige is DARK! get it a bit lighter. compare the 747s in the first pic, some are very dark and some look perfect. the new models are dark, eg kaghan, quetta.
However i will try my best to sort this out. But looks fine to me as these above models have been so-called "rushed" as they are only samples! we shall wait for final product but believe me the beige colour is good
I will recieve these sample models in hand sometime this week and i will compare the colours and let you all know.
So far most people are quite happy with these releases which they should be as we barely get to see any PIA's being released in these big quantites!
