Let's forget about retro or current livery schemes for a moment. I think the following link will give PIA admninistration some very good examples as to how to paint these lovely birds. After all up until now, the airlines has been run likee on of these..........

Thanks Abbas bahi and Arfan for this picture, Honestly this livery looks crap on these beauties, new livery just dosen't suit these planes...is there anyone who could stop this decision and turn it into painting these into 70's Retro or 80's Green and gold livery!....Otherthing i am wondering from this picture is howcome they haven't sanded the tail fin as yet, its same color as rest of aft fuselage
, Green looks great on this tail..

Here's latest photo of AP-AXL from PIA Planetarium, Lahore, sent by Arfan Fida.

As seen in the photo, the Boeing 720B has received green band on fuselage and mobile stairway is also painted in current PIA livery. The aircraft is waiting to get PIA titles on fuselage and change in tail colour scheme - Photo Copyright Arfan Fida

Here's a latest shot of the PIA Planetarium in Karachi. Also painted in similar fashion to the one in LHE:

Someone here on the forum said its not the paint but the stickers which are given to the aircraft’s tails as regional tail colors. See all the aircraft has been painted in newer colors where as the tail is left unpainted. I think they possibly will be planning to give those new tail color stickers to these aircrafts too.PK777 wrote:I agree with Samee, the stripe is way to thin compared to the current livery! They should obviously paint the Sindh tail on the aircraft in Karachi and Punjab one in Lahore would make sense.
