Excellent pic Oxon

I think it could be either Atlas Air or Emirates Skycargo.

Nice photo from Islamabad!

Yes, I also think it's Atlas Air 747. Is that a PAF CN-235 on the right side of photo?

It can not be Emirates Sky Cargo nor it can be a Polar Air, both of them have got different scheme of livery. Emirates operates their cargo services by a 744 and Polar I think with 742.

That can only be CN-235 because tail is showing a Pakistani flag and colour scheme showing PAF plane.

No, unfortunately they haven't even started service yet. I don't know when/if they ever will.

It could be EK Skycargo too, as their 742F are operatd by Atlas and are not painted in EK livery, they do actually wear the very scheme shown in the picture above.

The discussion was on which airline or company is it flying for now, yes its Atlas Air and it could be the one they are operating for Emirates besides the full EK liveried 744F.

The plane is indeed Atlas air.

The Pakistan dude, who founded Atlas Air, his name was Micheal Choudary. He died in a plane crash of a L-39 (while flyin himself) in Utah three years back and since his death Atlas air has been trouble and in 2004 filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection also. His L-39 had an engine flameout and Micheal and his friend in the back could not bail out or eject in time. Micheal was man with a vision for Atlas as Cargo carrier.

The 747 is owned by Atlas Air but operated by Polar Air Cargo. Small Polar Air titles are applied behind the first door.

Just like this Boeing 747:

If its been identified as an ex-UTA plane based on the livery its wearing then its not because UTA didnt have blue engines, its just in basic Atlas colours as can be seen here (not the same aircraft though) http://www.airliners.net/open.file/951823/M/

I also heard Atlas will be merged into Polar Air.
