Quetta Airport Certified for Aircraft Operation up to Aerodrome Reference Code 4E

Quetta International Airport has been certified for aircraft operations up to aerodrome reference code 4E or below for the period from May 29, 2023, till May 29, 2026, with following conditions:

Width of the runway strip Runway 13L will be 71 meters on the right side and 107 meters on the left side of the runway up to threshold to threshold and 30 meters beyond threshold.

Runway 13R/31L



Aerodrome with 4E reference code allows operation of passenger/cargo aircraft up to category of Airbus A330/340/350, Boeing 747/777/787.

Earlier, Quetta International Airport was certified for aircraft operation up to aerodrome reference code 3C Visual Flight Rules (VFR) or below for the period from November 26, 2021, to September 15, 2022.

Aerodrome with 3C reference code allows operation of aircraft up to category of Airbus A320 family/Boeing 737 family.
