PIA Issues Dress Code Reminder Bulletin for Pilots

Post by Abbas Ali »

Bulletin/circular issued by PIA Flight Operations Department on May 24, 2023.

"It has been regretfully observed that despite numerous circulars/instructions from the management regarding appropriate dress code while on company duty, certain crew members are not abiding by the guidelines.

Bedroom slippers, night suit pajamas are not acceptable attire while visiting restaurants and public areas of a hotel during layovers.

Wearing of proper uniform is also re-emphasized.

The uniform jacket is a six button double breasted article, the cut should be conservative and not a fashion statement.

Crew is also reminded to refrain from discussion of company/personal matters in the presence of drivers etc. while traveling on company service.

Please bear in mind that you are representing the national flag carrier and your country while on duty."

Can someone remind the management to focus on things that ACTUALLY matter.
