Saudia Airlines is starting operations from Gatwick with 6 weekly flights from Gatwick to Jeddah starting June 1st and from Birmingham to Jeddah with three weekly flights from July 2nd.
Targeting Birmingham and Gatwick to Pakistan will be a key focus.

Saudia tends to be the cheapest operator for flights from europe to southeast asia for the last year or so, probably looking to build a hub in jeddah. Enjoy it while their cash lasts

Don't know about last year but currently Saudia isn't cheap at all ,even Birmingham fares are on par with Qatar. Saying that with current umrah transit they'll attract descent load from Birmingham.
