where are they getting all their capital from to get these planes?! they ar leasing a 777...they've floated a tender for an A320 or a 330 or an A300-600..another A310's coming in next month..not to forget the immense amount of money the airlines already paying for its 6 A310's which it got last year...
but they do need planes...with the A300's maxed out..and the fokkers about to leave..i guess leasing planes would be wise...and unwise at the same minute..but i cant wait to see the new ATR's that PIA's buying (inshAllah)...

Pakistan International Airlines immediately requires three, 48 to 50 seater turbo prop aircraft on wet lease.
Probably PIA is planning to retire 2 or 3 more Fokkers and these leased turbo props will take their place.

If PIA would have got the Q400's, it would've been so much better as those a/c's could have easitly dont LHE-ISB-LHE, LHE-MUX-LHE, LHE-PEW-LHE, ISB-PEW-ISB, and such other small routes in the country. The A310's and the B737's can so ISB/LHE-KHI-LHE/ISB
