Since the installation of ILS CAT-IIIB system at Lahore Airport disruption of flight operations due to fog is reduced at the airport compared to years before the installation of this system.

Like for example aircraft of airlines like Qatar Airways and Turkish Airlines are using ILS CAT-IIIB to land at Lahore Airport in reduced visibility due to fog when it was not possible in the past:

Examples of flights landing at Lahore Airport in fog in recent days:

Qatar Airways Doha to Lahore flight QR620
https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/qr620

Turkish Airlines Istanbul to Lahore flight TK714
https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/tk714

As discussed in the past, utilization of ILS CAT-IIIB system installed at Lahore Airport also requires compatible system on the aircraft and cockpit crew training.

My parents arrived on 03rd Jan via EK 622 and there was rare 50 meter visibility at Lahore airport.
4 flights landed within the span of 1 hr 30 min and all of them were landed in low visibility especially Qatar and Emirates.
As per my father, at one moment we were scared as there was no land or view except fog and flight landed.
So yes CAT III system at lahore does make impact.

the equipment i.e. aircraft to be certified for CAT III operations and operating crew also needed to go under such training to operate flight in foggy conditions to attempt CAT III B which is a fully autoland procedure.

Crew of Most local airlines are not certified for CAT III operations and sometimes aircraft is not maintained to carry out CATIII
