British Airways Resuming London-Islamabad Flights from August 2

British Airways (BA) resuming London-Islamabad flights from August 2. Three weekly flights to be operated between London Heathrow and Islamabad with Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.

From October 30, 2022, service to be transferred back to London Gatwick with daily Boeing 777-200ER flights for Islamabad.

British Airways London Gatwick to Islamabad flights were suspended temporarily from June 15.

Good to see BA back at ISB. Though departing schedule from ISB Isn't great as connections to North America will have issues besides maybe flights to NYC, Chicago, or Boston. Wish they keep this flight at LHR permanently.

Permission granted by Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on June 16 to British Airways Boeing 787 three weekly flights between London and Islamabad starting from August 2.

I think it's enough now, Pakistan needs to actively and aggressively pursue PIA flight issue with UK authorities.

To begin with or in first phase, one daily flight from PK-UK should chalk out.

Looks like the aircraft remains in ISB for over 24 hours and same crews operating the return leg,At least BA happy with the security arrangements.Hope low parking fees

Looks like BA continuing LHR ISB flights and not switching back to LGW for W22/23...... hopefully remaining permanently at LHR.
