CAA alone cannot control bird strike threat. Team effort is needed. Population living under flight take-off/landing path needs to be informed/educated about bird strike hazard and proper disposal of garbage. Civic agencies/waste management companies must ensure cleanliness in areas under the flight path of aircraft departing/landing at Lahore Airport.
The issue is primarily moral corruption on part of people in the higher ups. Sector F of Askari X has been literally extended into taxiway Romeo and Apron. Overall commercial activity next to the airport has had a super steep curve in the past few years. Unless the influential neutrals decide to let go of their flourishing businesses, there’s no end to this madness. There’s no area near the airport to even think of pulling off a Sully!
